User roles
CxEngage Reporting provides the following user profiles:
- Designer: Users with the Designer role can create, modify, and publish reports and dashboards to share with other users. The data available for components is limited by the data models that are shared with a Designer. This role has a higher access level than Power Viewers and Viewers.
Important: Designers must be assigned the ERS_REPORTS_DESIGNER permission in CxEngage. - Power Viewer: Users with the Power Viewer role work with existing shared reports and dashboards in order to create new views. They cannot create their own data models, reports, or dashboards. As well, they cannot edit existing ones. Both the original component and its data source must be shared with the Power Viewer before a view can be created. Compared to a Designer, a Power Viewer has fewer options available to them even when they have all the permissions needed for editing. Other than that, they have the same access level and can use and interact with reports and dashboards the same as a Viewer can.
Important: Power Viewers must be assigned the MANAGE_All REPORTS permission in CxEngage. - Viewer: Users with the Viewer role can look at shared reports, report views, and dashboards. They can also modify what data displays by using filters and settings, as well as view, print, and export reports, views, and dashboards. This is the lowest access level.
Important: Viewers must be assigned the VIEW_ALL_REPORTS permission in CxEngage.
